Supported clients
Sociality MCP currently includes setup paths for major client types, along with generic connection options for other MCP-compatible environments. Current setup documentation covers named clients such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, while broader compatibility can vary depending on how a client supports MCP connections.
Main AI clients
- ChatGPT
- Claude
- Gemini Enterprise
Your own agents and MCP-compatible tools
- Remote HTTP MCP: Connect directly from MCP-compatible clients, internal copilots, or custom agent environments that support remote MCP servers. Use the Sociality MCP URL and OAuth to give agents structured access to account and competitor intelligence.
- STDIO bridge: Use Sociality MCP in clients that do not yet support remote HTTP MCP natively. A bridge such as
mcp-remotelets local or terminal-based environments route MCP requests to Sociality’s remote server.
CLI and coding clients
- Codex
- Claude Code
- Gemini CLI
Other MCP-capable environments
- Google AI Studio
- NotebookLM
- Microsoft Copilot
- Cursor
- GitHub Copilot
Client compatibility
Prompt support, connection methods, and setup behavior can vary by client. Some clients surface prompts directly in the interface, while others may support tools and resources without exposing prompts in the same way. Current setup documentation is provided for the named clients and connection methods above where applicable.
