Today we are with Yağmur Gökmen, the Digital Marketing Unit Manager of ETI International. ETI is one of the leaders of the Turkish food industry and one of the biggest industrial enterprises of Türkiye. After establishing its first factory outside of Türkiye, in Craiova, Romania in 2017, Eti International has been building a strong presence in its strategic markets both physically and digitally.

Yağmur has been working in marketing and digital marketing for 11 years. She loves the fact that digital marketing allowed her to work in different sectors. “The language of digital marketing is the same in whichever market or sector you work. I enjoyed working for different brands,” she adds.

Now at ETI, she’s part of the 25-people team of the ETI International Marketing Department. She is reporting directly to ETI International Executive Marketing Director with a mission and vision of enhancing the digital presence of the ETI brands internationally, standardizing brand points across 60 countries, yet customizing the brands locally, and last but not least further developing the Digital Marketing Department by implementing new growth strategies.

She’s well familiar with social media management tools. “When I first joined ETI, the first thing I needed was such a tool” she says. She first heard about from their 360-degree advertising agency based in Azerbaijan, then linked their social media accounts.

“The greatest value has given me is the time! Time is the most precious” she says. “I work with many local agencies, and when I report to the board or my superiors; it makes my job very easy to draw the report directly from instead of going through all the presentations prepared by each agency in different templates.” she continues.

“It is also incredibly a lifesaver to see the year-to-date numbers graphically at a click of a button. Since I work with foreign agencies, time zones and holidays can change. When I urgently need to request data from a specific period from a foreign agency, it could take up to 2 days to receive it. Through Analytics, I can reach everything instantly and independently.” Yağmur adds.

Competitor Analysis is the other product of ours that she uses quite often, and she mentions that she is interested in diving deep into the Listen module in the upcoming weeks.
